Stimmt’s strategy team just completed a strategy project for the Nature Publishing Group (NPG). Working with NPG’s management, industry experts, and scientists, we created and assessed a range of strategic options for NPG’s way forward into a digital future.
NPG is a publisher of high impact scientific and medical information in print and online. They publish journals, online databases, and services across the life, physical, chemical and applied sciences and clinical medicine. «Nature» (the leading weekly, international scientific journal, founded in 1869) is their landmark publication. NPG is a division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd, a global publishing group founded in the United Kingdom in 1843. Macmillan is itself owned by German-based, family run company Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck GmbH.
